# 7. Volatility

The volatility factor is a moving value, meaning the alert triggers when the specified value is reached, not at the close of the candle.

Note that depending on the timeframe the value of the volatility factor changes, the lower the timeframe, the lower the value of volatility.&#x20;

For more accurate signals it is recommended to combine the use of volatility factor with the alert by the price value.
